She obtained a diploma as a dentist in 1989 at the Medical Academy in Warsaw. In 2007, she obtained the degree of Doctor of medical sciences, and in 2013 the title of habilitated doctor. She received the title of professor in 2020.
In 2002, from a specialist, individual medical practice, she created a non-public healthcare facility, in which she invited the best specialists in their fields to cooperate.
For 25 years he has been dealing with the therapy of functional disorders of the masticatory system, including diseases of the temporomandibular joints and masticatory muscles, using the tools of modern instrumental and imaging diagnostics. The basis of treatment is restoring orthopedic balance within the masticatory system, using prosthetic and orthodontic procedures, and prosthetic rehabilitation of patients with generalized pathological tooth wear, and malocclusion, as well as prevention of temporomandibular diseases.
Prof. dr hab. n. med. Jolanta Kostrzewa-Janicka is a member of the Polish Dental Society, the Polish Society of Masticatory Dysfunctions, the International Academy of Advanced Interdisciplinary Dentistry, and the European Academy of Craniomandibular Disorders.
