Johnathan Napier

Prof. Johnathan Napier (Rothamsted Research, UK) - both have expertise in basic and applied aspects of plant lipids, including biotechnology. The two of them replace Elisabeth Blée, and all recognise the contribution she has made to the continued success of the Plant Lipids Division. With the growing appreciation of the contribution plant lipid will make to the bio-economy, ranging from biofuels to high value nutritional fatty acids, it is an exciting time to be carrying out research in this field.
