Dr. Wood is a South Australian based ENT surgeon, working at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Adelaide. Having completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney he completed his internship and residency years at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide. Subsequently, he moved to Western Australia to complete his ENT surgical training. Achieving his RACS Fellowship in 2017, he moved to Auckland to complete a Paediatric ENT Fellowship at Starship Children’s Hospital. He has completed a Masters of Surgery from Flinders University for his research into laryngopharyngeal reflux, for which he was awarded the Gordon Baron-Hay Medal from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has a special interest in Paediatric ENT, and particularly airway management, salivary gland disease, head, and neck masses and vascular malformations.
