John William Henson MD, MBA, FACHE

Dr. John Henson earned his medical degree and completed his internship in internal medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. His residency in neurology was at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee where he served as chief resident. He completes his fellowship in neuro-oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and his fellowship in diagnostic neuroradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Henson is board certified in neurology and neuro-oncology. He was on the staff of Massachusetts General Hospital and on the faculty of Harvard Medical School for 17 years. He completed his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. Prior to joining Piedmont Healthcare as the Chief of Oncology services, Dr. Henson served as chief of neurology at Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle and was Vice President of Medical Affairs.
