John W. Colson PhD

Dr. Colson is currently Director of Operations for ClostraBio. He is responsible for day-to-day operations of the company and its continued business development activities. Prior to joining ClostraBio, Dr. Colson was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago at the Institute for Molecular Engineering and a Senior Associate at the Chicago Innovation Fund. He was also a co-founder of the Institute for Molecular Engineering's Innovation and Commercialization Fellows program. Dr. Colson was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow at Cornell University and earned his PhD in Chemistry in 2014. His multidisciplinary expertise includes organic and polymer chemistry, materials chemistry, and entrepreneurship.
