John LiVecchi, MD, FACS is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained oculoplastic surgeon, specializing in Eyelid and Facial Cosmetic Surgery including upper and lower eyelid surgery, browlifts, facelifts, necklifts, Botox, Restylane, Juvaderm, Radiesse and other fillers.
Dr. LiVecchi received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the City University of New York at Richmond and earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Rome in 1977. He served his internship at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and completed a residency in ophthalmology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center and was chief resident there from 1981 to 1982.
From 1982 to 1983 he was a Fellow in Oculoplastic Surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. LiVecchi is Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando, Florida. He regularly makes scientific presentations, exhibits his work at academic meetings, and has published numerous articles. He is a contributing author to several texts on ophthalmology.
