John S. Rose MD

Dr. Rose specializes in emergency medicine and the care for the acutely ill or injured who present to UC Davis Medical Center Emergency Department. Dr. Rose also specializes in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) which is the care provided to patients outside the hospital by paramedics, firefighters, and police. He is Medical Director of Emergency Medical Services at UC Davis Health. He is the program director for the EMS Fellowship at UC Davis Health. Dr. Rose is also interested in the care of patients with substance use disorder. He is part of a multidisciplinary team at UC Davis Health to reach out to patients who struggle with substance use disorder.
