Dr. John S. Condeelis, Ph.D., is a Scientific Director of Analytical Imaging Facility. Dr. Condeelis is a Co-Director of Gruss Lipper Biophotonics Center, dedicated to the development and application of optical imaging technologies and co-director of the Integrated Imaging Program, dedicated to the validation of high resolution probes in clinical imaging. His training is in nuclear physics, optical physics and cell/cancer biology. Dr. Condeelis serves as the Chairman of Translational Research at Judith & Burton P. Resnick. Dr. Condeelis serves as Director of Tumor Microenvironment and Metastasis Program of Albert Einstein Cancer Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Condeelis served as Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board at MetaStat, Inc. and serves as its Member of Scientific and Clinical Advisory Board. Dr. Condeelis serves as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board of Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, LLC. Dr. Condeelis is a Professor and Co-Chairman of Anatomy and Structural Biology. He discovered the Invasion Signature of breast tumors. He discovered the Invasion Signature of breast tumors. He has held elected office in national societies, served on numerous study sections at NIH and the ACS and as Chairman of the Physiology and Cell Biology Study Section, Chairman of the Gordon Conference on Motile Systems and the Board of Scientific Councilors at the NIH.
