John D. Russell MB Mch, FRCS (ORL)

Dr John Russell, MB Mch, FRCS (ORL) is a Clinical Associate Professor at The Trinity College Dublin. Mr Russell graduated from University College Dublin in 1984 with honours in surgery. He trained as a specialist registrar in ENT and attained his FRCS(London) Fellowship in Otolaryngology in 1991. He completed a Fellowship in Paediatric Otolaryngology at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, London in 1995. He was appointed as a Consultant in 1996 and is currently a Paediatric ENT Surgeon at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and The Beacon Hospital. Mr Russell is the current President of the European Society of Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology and is the Secretary-General Elect of the Confederation of European Otorhinolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.
