John E. Blake, Iii MD

Dr. John E. Blake III, MD, is a physician and Co-Founder of Spine & Pain Associates. He is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Blake has practiced pain medicine in Chattanooga since 2009. His practice is multidisciplinary, treating all types of pain, and he specializes in minimally invasive interventional pain management and spine procedures. Dr. Blake is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Following a preliminary surgery internship, he completed his Anesthesiology residency and a Pain Management fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Blake’s professional commitment to the practice of pain management has led him to serve in various capacities on statewide committees and as President of The Tennessee Pain Society. He also has an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor within the University of Tennessee’s Department of Medicine. John E.
