John Ramirez MD

Dr. John Ramirez is an experienced cardiologist and Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. With more than 40 years of clinical experience, he specializes in cardiovascular disease, non-invasive cardiology, preventive cardiology, hypertension, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease.

Dr. Ramirez earned his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in 1981. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. He is affiliated with the USF Health Florida Cardiovascular Institute, where he provides comprehensive cardiovascular care to adult patients.
