John Egan, MD, FCCP, is a board-certified physician specializing in interventional pulmonology and critical care medicine. Dr. Egan earned his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York, and his interventional pulmonology fellowship at Chicago Chest Center in Elk Grove, Illinois. Dr. Egan is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. His clinical interests include lung cancer, advanced bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, pleural disease, medical thoracoscopy/pleuroscopy, endoscopic surgery, airway stents, and lung cancer screening.
