John P. Kimball MD, FAAOS

Jon Kimball, M.D., FAAOS, is an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at Laser Spine Institute in Tampa, Florida. He helps patients regain their quality of life by performing minimally invasive spine surgery designed to treat common spine conditions. After earning his medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and then completing his residency at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida Health, Dr. Kimball knew he wanted to study orthopedic spine surgery. He then pursued several fellowship programs studying various types of orthopedic spine surgery, with the goal of translating this knowledge and experience into performing minimally invasive spine surgeries to help many patients.

During his career as an orthopedic spine surgeon, Dr. Kimball performed surgery on several professional athletes and helped countless patients find relief from neck and back pain. With these experiences, he joined the ranks of the leading orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons at Laser Spine Institute Tampa. He now uses his expertise to perform minimally invasive decompression and stabilization procedures on patients who are suffering from chronic back pain.
