John Moffat PhD

John Moffat is a Senior Scientist in the Department of Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology, Small Molecule Drug Discovery at Genentech. He has lead target-based oncology drug discovery projects from HTS to clinical candidate nomination and leads Genentech's phenotypic screening initiatives. His primary interest is in using quantitative cell biology to define the relationships between biochemical and phenotypic profiles of small molecule drug candidates. His group supports multiple drug discovery programs with high-throughput screening, high content and gene signature profiling.
