John Konicek MS

John Konicek was placed as the executive director of compensation and benefits at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Health Network. John brings to the position a well-rounded HR background, with a strong foundation as a generalist. His previous position represents over 20 years of compensation and benefits experience within a progressive and growing organization and a strong track record of success in the evolution of an HR department.

Before joining Froedtert, John served as the executive director of total rewards at Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina. Part of the Carolinas HealthCare System. Previously, John served as the vice president of human resources for Ministry St. Mary's and Sacred Heart Hospitals in Wisconsin, and for the Bon Secours Kentucky Health System. He began his career as the assistant director of human resources for CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital in Texas.

John is originally from Wisconsin, where he completed his bachelor's degree in psychology at Viterbo University; he subsequently completed a master's degree in industrial and organizational psychology at Lamar University in Texas.
