Dr. John Triedman is Board-certified pediatric cardiologist specializing in pediatric rhythm disorders. My clinical practice includes catheter ablation, pacemaker and device implantation, inpatient and outpatient management. I also am academically active in areas related to my clinical practice, having obtained research funding from the NIH and other sources in the past. I am past-president of the primary international subspecialty organization in our field, the Pediatric and Congenital EP Society and am active in the Heart Rhythm Society. Recent research projects include modeling of defibrillation in the human torso, ultrasound guidance of cardiac interventions, and development of nonfluoroscopic techniques for catheter ablation. I have worked in the past with individuals from the medical device industry on IP and R&D projects, as well as consulting for plaintiff and defendant's lawyers on medical malpractice cases.
Dr.John Triedman long-term goals are to continue to operate at the cutting edge of my clinical subspecialty, providing high quality care to patients and their families who have few alternatives. Driving the medical device and visualization industry in the direction of providing appropriate support to pediatric care is a priority, and I believe that the best way to do this is to continue to propose and demonstrate creative ways of achieving this.
