Dr. Strang is a Board Certified Radiologist. He studied Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at MIT, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor and Master of Science Degree. Dr. Strang earned his MD at Northwestern Medical School in 1988. He completed a transitional Internship followed by a 4-year diagnostic Radiology Residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He then did a 2-year National Cancer Institute Fellowship at Stanford University in MRI and Body Imaging. He came to the University of Rochester in 1995, and has directed the PET/CT program since 2004.
