Dr. John Cook, Internal Medicine Physician at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in Tulsa, provides care for patients requiring hospitalization for medical issues that have interrupted cancer treatment. He is dedicated to exploring all available options of appropriate care to allow patients to safely resume their cancer treatment as swiftly as possible. He strives to help patients and caregivers stay well-informed, as he sees this as crucial to achieving good outcomes. “We provide up-to-date approaches in an atmosphere that is friendly and supportive,” says Dr. Cook.

Dr. Cook has been providing medical care for more than two decades. After earning his undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University, Dr. Cook attended the University Of Oklahoma College Of Medicine, where he completed his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1990. He remained there for a three-year residency in internal medicine. After several years in a small clinic, he ran a private practice in Oklahoma associated with a regional hospital. Later he worked as internal medicine physician in a variety of hospital settings, treating a wide range of medical issues including follow-up care after medical emergencies. He joined CTCA in 2014. Dr. Cook is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
