John Broad PhD

John Broad is currently working as a Senior Lecturer and Post Doctoral Researcher at the Queen Mary University of London. Dr. John Broad and the Head of Year 1. His main role is to support students in their academic work, staff in delivering their teaching, and represent the year in the wider medical school. He also looks after our neuroscience modules in years 1 and 2, and the physiology teaching. His research interests are in gastrointestinal pharmacology- prior to his time in Gozo, he was a post-doctoral researcher in QMUL London for the best part of a decade. He believes the best part of QMUL Malta is the relatively small cohort of students and staff, meaning we get to know each student well, and the best part of Gozo is the sea.
