John Barcroft

Dr John Barcroft trained at Cambridge (Queens’ College) and St Bartholomew’s Hospital. He started anaesthesia at Northampton General, continued training at Barts, Middlesex and UCLH with stints at NHND Queens Square, The Brompton, Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children Carshalton, and research department of Faculty of Anaesthetists under Professor Jimmy Paine.

Dr John Barcroft was appointed Consultant at RNOH in 1988 and joined UCLH in 1990. He has been Clinical Director, Hospital Audit Lead, and College Tutor. He is now Consultant Anaesthetist without Portfolio with a passionate interest in teaching ultrasound and regional anaesthesia.
