John A. Windsor is currently the Director of the Pancreas Research Group and Surgical Research Network at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His primary research focus is the pathophysiology of acute pancreatitis, particularly the role of the intestine and mesenteric lymph in driving disease severity. His related to this are interests in prognostic markers, severity assessment, mitochondrial dysfunction, prevention of organ dysfunction, enteral nutrition, minimally invasive necrosectomy, and clinical trials.
