John A. Carucci MD, PhD, FAAD, FACMS

John A. Carucci, MD, Ph.D., FACMS, studied medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, located in central Brooklyn, New York. He received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree as well as his Ph.D. in 1994 and then completed his internship at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and his dermatology residency training at NYU Medical Center (1998). Dr. Carucci is fellowship-trained skin cancer and reconstructive surgeon, i.e. trained in Mohs surgery, at New Haven Medical Center of Yale University (2000) and holds certification in dermatology from the American Board of Dermatology since 1998. He also stays current in his industry as a member of the American College of Mohs Surgeons, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
