John A. Bittl MD, FACC

Dr. Bittl joined Dr. Feldman's team at the MRMC (now AdventHealth Ocala) Cath Lab in 1997. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. He completed his residency at UCLA Hospital in Los Angeles, CA and his Cardiology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Prior to coming to Ocala, Dr. Bittl served on the faculty at Harvard Medical School as an associate professor of medicine.

Dr. Bittl has published more than 150 original reports and reviews in medical journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine. He also writes clinical practice guidelines for the American Heart Association for stenting, bypass surgery, and myocardial infarction. Dr. Bittl has been listed as top doctor in Ocala Style, Boston Magazine, US News and World Report.

Dr. Bittl is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Endovascular Procedures. He performs all coronary and peripheral procedures and interventions.
