Dr. Arrington is the medical director of the University Diagnostic Institute (UDI) and brings with him over 20 years of Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Radiology experience. Dr. Arrington is board certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology with full certification and a Certificate of Added Qualification. After receiving a BS degree from the University of Florida, in Gainesville, Florida, Dr. John Arrington received his MD degree from the University of South Florida and completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency there as well, serving as Chief Resident in his senior year. Dr. Arrington served a Neuroradiology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, following which he returned to the Tampa Bay area to practice. Dr. John Arrington has authored numerous scientific papers and has a teaching appointment at USF College of Medicine.
Dr. Arrington is currently on staff at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Shriner’s Hospital Tampa Unit, and the James A. Haley Veteran’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Arrington is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, American Society of Spine Radiology, Florida Medical Association, American College of Radiology, and the Hillsborough County Medical Association; all of which make him an unequivocal choice for his prestigious position with University Diagnostics Institute. Dr. John Arrington has recently been named one of the Outstanding Physicians in America by physician peers.
