Johannes W. J. Bijlsma

Johannes Bijlsma is the President-Elect of EULAR (European League Against Rheumatism), and a Professor of Rheumatology at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. Professor Bijlsma researches and specialises in immune aspects of rheumatic diseases and Osteoarthritis. Bijlsma is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the Osteoarthritis Research Society. He also served as President of the Dutch Society for Rheumatology from 1996-1999, and Chairman consilium from 2002 -2008.
