Johanna Suzanne Archer MD, VMD

Dr. Johanna Suzanne is a Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist with a subspecialty in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. She first went to veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. After practicing veterinary medicine for a year she then got a Master's in Reproductive Endocrinology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She obtained her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Archer did her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Her fellowship training was at the University of California-San Diego. She then worked at the University of Minnesota and the University of Louisville as an REI. After being in private practice for eight years Dr. Archer decided to return to academic medicine joining Indiana University in 2020.

Dr. Archer's professional interests include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), irregular menstrual cycles secondary to hormonal abnormalities, recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL), and hormone therapy for postmenopausal women.
