Joey Lee PhD

Dr. Joey Lee (or Dr. J) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). Dr. Lee serves as the Program Coordinator for the UCCS Master of Sciences in Health Promotion degree program. He teaches community health and program planning and evaluation courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. His primary area of research is protecting and supporting youth health through the promotion of healthy behaviors in school settings with an emphasis on working through organizational factors. Dr. Lee is a member of the Society of Health and Physical Educators of America (SHAPE America) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) professional organizations and serves on local committees and boards that promote active transportation for youth and adults.
