Joerg Christoph Prinz MD

Dr. Joerg Christoph Prinz is a Full Professor of Dermatology and Venereology and Deputy Chair of the Clinic for Dermatology and Allergology of the Ludwig-Maximilian University (LMU) in Munich, Germany. Beyond his commitments to patient care and teaching at medical school, his main research interest is in the analysis of the T-cell mediated immunopathogenesis of psoriasis and the identification of the target cells and autoantigens of psoriatic the pathogenic psoriatic immune response. He is also interested in developing novel therapies for T-cell-mediated autoimmune disorders and has been actively involved in preparing evidence-based guidelines for psoriasis treatment. In addition, he has published extensively in major peer-reviewed journals.
