Dr. Joel Andrade has worked in correctional mental health since 1997 as a mental health professional, director of mental health services for the Massachusetts Department of Correction, and director of clinical operations for MHM Services, Inc. He has published on topics including psychopathy, violence risk assessment, self-injurious behavior, and designing alternatives to segregation units for correctional systems.
