Joe Bolano

Joe Bolano is Vice President of Capital Projects and Facility Services for the Department of Physical Assets at the North Shore LIJ Health System. The Physical Assets Organization manages all real estate, capital projects, and ambulatory facility operations for the Health System. Under his leadership, the Facility Services team oversees design and construction for all capital projects, including infrastructure improvements across all 19 hospitals and related facilities.

Mr. Bolano joined North Shore LIJ in August 2013 in advance of the merger of the Real Estate, Facility Services, and Operations departments into one organization known today as Physical Assets. He brings to his current role, a wealth of experience in all aspects of the Building Industry, with the majority of his career spent in healthcare facilities. Prior to joining North Shore LIJ, he worked under the Office of Real Estate at Columbia University, where he was Director of Off-Campus Real Estate Development. Joe is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology and has an advance degree in Construction Management from NYU.
