Jochen Hinkelbein MD, DESA, EDIC, FASMA

Mr. Priv.-Doz. Dr. Jochen Hinkelbein (born 1974) is Senior Lecturer and Head of Department for Emergency Medicine at the Department of Anesthesiology and Operational Intensive Care at the University Hospital Cologne (AöR). After studying and doctorate at the University of Heidelberg, he worked as a research assistant from 2001-2009 and, most recently, as a senior physician at the Mannheim University Hospital. In January 2010 he moved to the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Operational Intensive Care at the Cologne University Hospital (AoR).

Mr. Hinkelbein has been Chairman of Subcommittee # 13 "Resuscitation and Emergency Medicine" of the European Society of Anesthesiology (ESA) since 2010. From 2008-2010 he was secretary of the German Society for Aerospace Medicine (DGLRM) and has been vice president of the company since 2014.
