Joao Andre Carrico PhD

Joao Andre Carrico is currently working as a Researcher in the Molecular Microbiology and Infection Unit at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon. He studied Applied Chemistry, Biotechnology and did his Ph.D. on Microbial typing and data analysis methodologies. João’s research interests are in Bioinformatics and the development of novel analysis and visualization methodologies for molecular and genomic epidemiology with special emphasis on High Throughput Sequencing data analysis.
