Joanna Skillman is an approachable and capable plastic surgeon. She understands the needs and wishes of her patients from a female perspective and provides individually tailored treatments to help them achieve their goals. Joanna’s caring nature and attention to detail help her to provide uncompromisingly high standards for her patients.

Joanna grew up in Cheltenham, studied medicine at Cambridge University, and was awarded a Master of Arts degree. She graduated in clinical studies at Oxford University. She was awarded the Radcliffe Prize; a university prize for all-around excellence. She undertook a broad and varied surgical training in Oxford, London, Durham, Birmingham, and Sydney.

She developed particular skills in breast reconstruction, microsurgery, and cosmetic surgery. She was one of the very few plastic surgeons to be awarded a sought-after oncoplastic fellowship and she enhanced her aesthetic skills during a dedicated cosmetic fellowship.
