Joanna Elizabeth Harnett PhD

Dr Joanna Harnett is an Associate Lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Sydney specialising in medicinal complementary medicines. Following 15 years of clinical practice as a naturopath in an integrative medicine centre and completing a PhD in nutritional pharmacology in 2013, Joanna turned her focus to teaching and research with a view to fostering the appropriate and safe use of evidence-based Complementary Medicine and developing high quality professionally relevant education. Joanna is a fellow of the Australian Research Centre Complementary and Integrative Medicine. She received the NHAA award for excellence 2016 article of the year.
