Joanna E. Kusmirek MD

Dr. Joanna Kusmirek, MD, is an Assistant Professor (CHS) of Radiology. She earned her MD at the University of Lublin, Poland, and was board-certified in Internal Medicine. She moved to Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison where she completed two residencies in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology, followed by a mini-fellowship in Cardiothoracic imaging. Her professional interests include cardiothoracic imaging and nuclear medicine/PET.
