Joan Rikli MBA, MSN, RN, CPNP-PC, NE-BC

Joan Rikli, MBA MSN RN CPNP-PC NE-BC, is the president of the National Association of Neonatal Nursing (NANN) as well as the nursing director for neonatal intensive care and pediatric services at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She received her BSN from UCLA, her MSN from the University of Michigan, and her MBA from Grand Valley State University.

Ms. Rikli has over 35 years of experience in nursing leadership and neonatal nursing. In addition to serving on the board of directors for NANN, she also is a board member for the March of Dimes, Grand Rapids Division. She has contributed to multiple publications and speaks on a variety of nursing topics across the country. Joan is passionate about family-centered care, patient safety, quality improvement, and leadership development.
