Joachim W. Thuroff MD

Dr. Joachim Thuroff was born in Frankfurt / Main. From 1968 to 1974 he studied human medicine at the Philipps University in Marburg and completed the American Medical Examination (ECFMG) in 1975. After his time as a medical assistant, he was a scientific assistant in pathology in Marburg (1976-1977) and surgery in the Juliusspital in Würzburg (1977-1978). He received his urological specialist training from 1978-1982 in Mainz, St. Gallen, Switzerland, and at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), USA.
