Jivko Kamarachev MD

Dr. Kamarachev obtained his medical degree at the University of Sofia, Bulgaria. He prepared his doctoral thesis in Zurich, Switzerland and defended it at the University of Zurich in 2000. He obtained his board certification in Dermatology and Venerology in 1996 (Sofia) and 2004 (Zurich). He started his dermatopathology training with Prof. E. Obreshkova in Sofia and later with Prof. G. Burg and Prof. R. Dummer in Zurich. In 2006 he passed the European Board Certification Exam in dermatopathology and has worked since then as a dermatopathologist at the Department of Dermatology in Zurich. Since 2015 he has been chief of the dermatopathology unit there.
