Jimena Cubillos BA, MD

Dr. Jimena Cubillos joined at the Division of Pediatric Urology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Cubilllos was born in Bogota, Colombia and emigrated to the United States as a small child. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and her Doctorate in Medicine, both from the University of Rochester.

In medical school, Dr. Cubillos participated in basic nephrologic research, with her clinical interests gravitating to surgery and caring for children. Following surgery and urology residencies at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, she completed a two-year fellowship in pediatric urology at Long Island Jewish/Schneider Children's Hospital, serving as attending pediatric urologist at Metropolitan Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
