Jim Wallis, ATC, MS, CKTI. Jim Wallis graduated from Washington State University in 1983 and then received his Certified Athletic Trainer designation from NATA. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the school of Community Health and Head Athletic Trainer for Portland State University. He has been working with the Kinesio Taping Method since first being introduced to the technique in Japan in the fall of 1994.

Jim has led instructor workshops in the USA, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, and Australia. He has presented twice at the International Kinesio Taping Association Symposium in Tokyo, Japan, and was recognized in 2000 for his distinguished service as an Instructor of the Kinesio Taping Method. In 2003 he co-wrote Clinical and Therapeutic Applications of the Kinesio Taping Method with Dr. Kenzo Kase and Tsuyoshi Kase. Recently, he began work in Japan on a DVD about combining the Kinesio Taping Method with traditional athletic taping methods.
