Jihan Al Shehhi MBBS

Dr. Jihan Al Shehhi has 12 years of experience in Endocrinology. She joined us from Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi, where she was a Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes since June 2016. In her new role at HealthPlus Diabetes and Endocrinology Center, Dr Al Shehhi will be working as a Consultant Endocrinologist.

Dr. Al Shehhi graduated and obtained her MBBS degree in 2003 and had her training in Endocrinology and Diabetes from 2010 to 2016 from Paris Descartes University, France. Following her training, she was awarded the Certificate of Specialized Studies in Endocrinology, Diabetics, and Metabolic Diseases in 2016.

Dr. Al Shehhi’s scope of practice covers all thyroid disorders including thyroid cancer, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, management of Diabetes Mellitus Type 1 & 2, insulin pump therapy, medical management of obesity, and post bariatric surgery care.
