Jianwei Li MS, PhD

Dr. Jianwei Li is currently working as a Consultant and Technical Writer at Chemical Characterization Solutions, LLC. Dr. Jianwei Li was Sr. Chemistry Manager and Medtronic Technical Fellow in Medtronic Corporation (USA). In this role, he works with a team of analytical chemistry professionals whose primary responsibility includes application of diverse analytical strategies and methods for the discovery, identification and quantification of leachables in pharmaceutical drug products and extractables from medical devices per ISO 10993 standards. Jianwei has more than 20 years of experience in application of analytical chemistry in different phases of pharmaceutical and medical device product developments.

Jianwei did postdoctoral research at the University of Minnesota (USA) after obtaining a Ph.D in analytical chemistry from Purdue University (USA). He served as reviewers for eight international journals and had 40 publications in analytical chemistry and other related disciplines.
