Jesus Eric Pina-garza MD

Dr. Jesus Eric Pina-Garza is a Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics as well as the Director of Pediatric Epilepsy at the Children’s Hospital at Centennial Medical Center. A graduate of the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico, Dr. Pina-Garza completed his Pediatric Residency at the Children’s Hospital of Austin before completing an additional residency in Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology at Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Pina-Garza also completed a fellowship in Neurology/ Epilepsy at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Pina-Garza has held a number of teaching positions throughout his career and is heavily involved in research on the subject of epilepsy in children.
