Jessie K. Jacob MD, MMM

Dr. Jacob is a board certified, fellowship trained radiologist, a dedicated breast imager and an avid medical writer. Dr. Jacob received fellowship training in Breast Imaging and Intervention at Yale University and has directed breast centers in both New York and California. While directing, she initiated multiple programs including accreditation as an ACR Breast Center of Excellence, a 3T Breast MRI program and a High Risk Breast and Ovarian Program. She also became actively involved in a number of innovative technologies in the Breast Health space and subsequently accepted the role of Vice President of Medical Affairs at U-Systems, A GE Healthcare Company. As VPMA, she has oversight of clinical research and implementation of programs to improve quality, training and education. With her commitment to quality, she defined and maintains an FDA mandated Automated Breast Ultrasound Curriculum centered on quality control and quality assurance. In January 2014, Dr. Jacob went on to accept an additional role as Chief Medical Officer of Breast Health for GE Healthcare. Additionally, she maintains a clinical practice in Palo Alto at Northern California Women's Imaging Center and focuses on High Risk and Dense Breast Tissue. Dr. Jacob has strong interests in Strategic Development, Health IT (Certified in Health IT Leadership), Healthcare Economics and Healthcare startups. Lastly, she has completed a Masters in Healthcare Business at Marshall School of Business (USC) and is currently working towards a CPE certification (Certified Physician Executive).
