Jessie Hsiao-Tzu (H.-T.) Ni received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and post-doctoral training in Immunology from University of Minnesota. She also has a Master of Management of Technology degree from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. Jessie owns expertise and track record in developing and commercializing reagents for life science applications. Before joining Irvine Scientific (IS), Jessie spent more than 10 years in R&D Systems directing and managing the development and manufacturing of recombinant proteins, antibodies, and cell culture media. By working closely with the US National Institutes of Health, she secured the first public funding for stem cell research to establish a stem cell program in R&D Systems.

Through this program in R&D Systems, Jessie led the team to develop many first to market reagents needed by stem cell scientists, e.g. the first recombinant full-length fibronectin and vitronectin molecules, the first commercially qualified antibodies to human NANOG and SOX2 (Cai et al.,2005) and the improved N2 supplement for human neural progenitor culture (Ni et al., 2004). These reagents helped to advance the stem cells research and application.
