essica Shriver, MA, MS is a biomedical ethicist and patient advocate on the board of directors for Rare New England, Inc. who specializes in healthcare and ethics issues facing rare disease patients and families.
Jessica received her MA in Theology from Gordon-Conwell Seminary, her MS in Biomedical Ethics from Albany Medical College, and a graduate certificate in Health and Disability Policy from Suffolk University. She recently completed the 2016-2017 Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Fellowship through Umass Medical School and the US Department of Maternal and Child Health. Jessica’s research and advocacy have focused on the unique healthcare and policy needs of patients
with complex rare diseases, including Medicaid programming, medical decision-making, false medical child abuse accusations, and genetic testing
