Jessica Banks

Jessica Banks is an 11 year veteran of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. She is currently a Captain in the Medical Services Division. Captain Banks holds a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Palm Beach Atlantic University, is a Firefighter/Paramedic and has an AS degree in Nursing. Captain Banks was on the ground floor of the development of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue’s Mobile Integrated Health Program. As the departments first Community Paramedicine Coordinator, Captain Banks assisted in the development and implementation of several branches of the department's Mobile Integrated Health Program including: PBCFR’s High Frequency Utilizer program, Suboxone Pilot program, Addiction Protocol for patients suffering from substance abuse, as well as PBCFR’s paramedic referral program. This has given Captain Banks an in depth understanding of and considerable experience in developing and implementing MIH-CP programs and their associated challenges.
