Jerry Shapiro MD

Dr. Shapiro is one of the leading dermatologists in trichology, with more than 25 years of experience. He is currently a professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of New York. Dr. Jerry Shapiro is the founder of the first comprehensive clinic of medical and surgical hair surgery in the world, he has trained more than thirty international fellows from four continents.

He received his medical degree from McGill University and made his residency at the University of British Columbia. The Hair Research and Treatment Center of the University of British Columbia was established in 1986. He joined the department of dermatology at the Faculty of New York.
