Dr. Jerry Allison is a Medical Director at the Molina Healthcare of Texas. Dr. Allison earned his medical degree at Bicol Christian College of Medicine in the Philippines. He performed his residency in family medicine at West Virginia University Health System and completed a fellowship in medical education at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine.
Dr. Allison joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2020. He is certified by the American Boards of Family Medicine and Physician Specialties and is also a certified physician executive accredited by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management.
Dr. Allison’s clinical interests include primary care, emergency medicine, and mobile integrative health. He also has extensive experience in physician leadership and leadership development.
He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Emergency Physicians, the American Association for Physician Leadership, the American Medical Association, the Dallas County Medical Society, the National Association of EMS Physicians, the National Association of State EMS Officials, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the Texas Medical Association.
