Dr. Jerónimo Carnés is Doctor in Animal Physiology. He was qualified in Biological Sciences in Madrid, Spain. In his Doctoral Thesis he studied the effect of free radicals during experimental mesenteric ischemia/reperfusion in rats. From 1995 onwards, he has collaborated, designed and directed different research projects in Immunology, Allergy and Vaccines. He is involved in the development of immunotherapy for allergic diseases and vaccines for parasitic infectious diseases.
